This is how we started our business and we are now well known for this specialty field.  Our installers are employed as we do not want them to go anywhere else as they work to the highest standard and are the absolute best in this business.  It is because of our fantastic installation teams and the training that they receive from Russell Goswell our Installation Manager, that we have an outstanding reputation and receive daily recommendations through existing customers. 

We not only install on private homes but also carry out many, many installations for developers and builders of new homes, carry out work for local authorities, schools, residential and nursing homes. We use  very high quality PVCu roofline products on all of our installations which include a fully inclusive 20 year warranty*.

As registered installers and having been trained to the highest of standards our installers carry out the work to the recommended installation procedures of the manufacturers.  The method will change slightly from one home to another as every home is different but the basic principles will apply. The products are manufacturerd in the UK by Freefoam who have a high standard of maintaining and improving quality as one of the market leaders. 

As a family business it is important to us that you are not only pleased with your installation but that you recommend us to your family and friends.  We have a good aftercare service and just in case the unthinkable happens you are safe in the knowledge that we carry full public and employers liability insurance.

                              How the work is carried out

Supply and install Health and Safety Equipment to current health and safety regulations.

Carefully remove all existing fascia, bargeboards, soffit, guttering and remove all resultant debris from your home.

Carry out preparation, which may include installation of an Eaves Guard (PVC felt) under lower edge tiles, installation of a bird comb, checking timber rafter ends cutting out any rotted ends and splicing in treated timber.

Supply and install new PVCu fascia, bargeboards, soffit, guttering incorporating the use of joints, corners, marine grade fixings.  Seal and trim and clean as required.

VERGE AND GABLE END

Sometimes, if you have a gable (the upside V section) your verge may need re-bedding which is an additional cost, but we will usually advise you before work commences if we think there could be a problem.  If this needs attention we will remove the 1st row of tiles along the verge, remove the old mortar and the cloaking tile (undercloak), install a fibre cement undercloak and re-bed the roof tiles and verge into new mortar.

We have our own scaffolding and this is incorporated into our prices, however in rare instances for the health and safety of our staff it may be necessary to include additional scaffold prices into our quotes for areas that could cause our installers or you and your family a risk when having this type of work undertaken.
