Our Directors & Management Team
Tony Cooke, Director, has twenty eight years experience in the home improvement industry. Tony is the founder of the company and takes great pride in every home improvement project that the company performs. He has a watching brief over the Installation Manager, Russell and the Installation Teams. Tony is still involved in the selection and recruitment of the installers and their ongoing training and development. Tony believes that this professional approach to valuing staff and customers is the only way that a company can sustain real and substantial growth. After all he is in this business for the long hall, he has six children (two currently at university) and one grand child to support.
Beverley Cooke, Director, has a varied sales and accounting background, from retail to nurse recruitment. Beverley and Tony formed The Fascia People as a partnership in 1997, this worked well, with Tony's practical skills and Beverley's sales abilities. It was decided to formalise the partnership into the current limited company in 2003. Beverley also wears other hats, including overseeing the running of the admin office and the accounts office as well as the counter sales department. The Accounts Manager and the Office Manager both report directly to her.
Russell Goswell Installation/Project Manager, has thirteen years experience within the industry. Russell started with The Fascia People in 1997 as a fitter/installer and has now progressed to his present role being responsible for the smooth running of every installation. Russell ensures that sufficient teams with the requisite skills are available at the right time. Russell works with Tony on staff training and development and with Beverley in turning sales into completed work. Russell iis a qualified PVCu roofline technician and has a vast experience in roofing work gaining experience on large commercial projects for the company. He is also qualified in the safe handling and removal of asbestos and in erecting the access equipment used in our work. Russell has control of the business in the absence of Tony or Beverley.
Nigel Gillard, Deputy Roofline Manager, has been with The Fascia People since 1997 and assists Russell with our trainee programme. Nigel often undertakes many of the more difficult installations and those with decorative features such as external cornices under the soffit and decorative dentil blocks, although thanks to the training that Nigel assists with, other installers are equally as skilled. Nigel also qualified as a PVCu roofline technician in the late 1990's with Russell and the quality of his workmanship has helped us to develop our good reputation into the dependable business we are today.
